Since 2015 I’ve developed, deployed and maintained a SaaS application, Send Once, which enables photographers and agencies to quickly and easily distribute photos to clients. The application was launched in July 2016 and is built using a Go backend, with a Symfony and React frontend.
The application is designed to send hundreds of photos per minute, each to hundreds of destinations, with no queuing or delay. It’s a distributed system and utilises AWS cloud technologies including Lambda, SQS and S3 to scale on demand and achieve this.

A small macOS utility application written in Objective-C to quickly import “tagged” photos from a memory card.
The application is built for professional photographers who will “tag” or “lock” chosen photos on their cameras at an event and whom need to download them quickly to send to their clients.
It’s been built with speed as its priority and it’s faster than other full-featured applications which offer similar features.
Technologies: Objective-C

texecom2mqtt is a home automation application I’ve developed to communicate with a Texecom Premier Elite alarm panel and expose its functionality via MQTT in order to integrate it into a smart home.
It uses the proprietary low-level Texecom Connect Protocol to provide real-time sensor updates and full arming, disarming and part arming support. It uses the open MQTT protocol to provide compatibility with a wide range of home automation platforms, but it also features built-in integration with Home Assistant, the most popular smart home platform.
