<h2 id="1-status-of-computing-performance-benchmarks">1. Status of computing performance benchmarks</h2>
<div class="language-plaintext highlighter-rouge"><div class="highlight"><pre class="highlight"><code>  The CPU performance of Geant4 in the 11.3 series has remained stable,
  with no significant regressions observed so far.
  The observed memory increase in the single-particle samples starting
  from ref03 is due to the retrieval of additional cross-section data
  during initialization - for example, from
  G4NeutronInelasticXS::Initialise. However, this increase is not
  noticeable in the Higgs sample after the last event, as the added memory
  at initialization is relatively small compared to the total memory
  footprint of more complex events.
