Describe the problem
#1458 changed the default name given to devices running the Nightly builds. However, it also made it so that any client being loaded will have its device name reset to that default. I personally name all of my clients according to my own naming scheme to keep track of them logically, so this has messed with that.

Ideally, the device names shouldn't be reset on login.
Alternatives considered
The names could be changed if they are in a list of previous defaults, I suppose?
