It is my belief that I can only use an api account with your claude module, where i use a claude max subscription. Which are two different pricing models. I may be wrong on this, it is just what I read. |

I have several workspaces configured, and with each of them, I normally use VSCode Desktop. For code assistance, I use the Claude for Code add-on with my Max Subscription. I have been researching how to pre-install Claude for Code CLI and the VSCode plug-in, and to pre-authenticate against my max subscription. It seems it is not possible, and that I need to reinstall these items and authenticate again each time I spin up the workspace. This is frustrating, and I'm considering going back to using WSL on my computers.
Please let me know if I'm mistaken and whether there is a way to do this, and I just haven't found it yet.
