Hi there! 🌸 I’m Hannah Apuan, a software engineer with over ✨9 years of experience✨ building and transforming backend systems into scalable, cloud-based solutions. From migrating complex, multi-product systems to optimizing billing, compliance, and account models. I love diving into the details and making things run smoother, faster, and better.

I’m currently a Software Engineer on the Pipelines team at Customer.io, where I’m building backend systems that help move data reliably at scale. Before joining Customer.io in June 2026, I worked at bet365 on backend services for its US platform. 💻✨

Awarded a lifetime badge for the Cyphercon conference for being the first to solve the Cypher CTF which utilized cryptography, steganography, and cipher puzzles.

ETHDenver Hackathon 1st place - Implementation of Aragon
Feb 2018
Developed a decentralized app (dApp) at ETHDenver using ReactJS, Node, Web3, Truffle, and Ganache. Integrated Aragon Governance with custom namespacing and deployed a custom APM for a decentralized macro-funding platform using BigchainDB and IPFS. Completed the project in a 36-hour hackathon, creating a fully decentralized swarm site.
