Over the last 4 years I've worked across fintech and government-scale platforms in Uganda: systems that collect public revenue, move serious money, and run the daily operations of real businesses. I work mostly in Python/Django and React, and I'm at my best where reliability, performance and security actually matter.
I currently lead a small team, review for security, and stay close to the people who use what we build — taking on-call shifts and field feedback seriously. Good software, to me, is a team sport and a service to others.
None of the numbers below are mine alone. The platforms that move serious money and serve thousands of people were built shoulder-to-shoulder with talented teammates, shaped by mentors who were generous with their time, and held up by designers, QA, ops and the users who told us when we got it wrong. I've been lucky to do my part inside groups that were better than the sum of us — and most of what I'm proud of, we did together.
