We build custom software for companies that care how it actually works.

// pitch

Your business deserves software that works—reliably, quietly, correctly. Thirty-five years of practice have led us to one principle: get it right the first time.

§ 01 services

What we do.

Three lanes, one operating principle.

// EQUIPMENT LEASING 01 / 03

Our specialty since 1991

Three decades inside the equipment leasing industry. If your lease accounting platform doesn’t support a custom process, or you need real metrics out of it, we know exactly where the levers are.

  • Data warehouses
  • Reporting & dashboards
  • Vendor / client portals
  • Financial calculators
// PM & RESOURCING 02 / 03

Software for how work actually gets done

Project acquisition, scheduling, staffing, billing. Built for the way your team operates today, not how a textbook says it should.

  • Resource planning
  • Project intake
  • Timesheet & billing
  • Capacity reporting
// MID-MARKET 03 / 03

Custom software for the rest of you

Most of our work generalizes. If your team is fighting a system that doesn’t fit, we can usually help — operations tooling, internal portals, integrations, the boring-but-critical layer.

  • Internal tools
  • System integration
  • Workflow automation
  • Long-term support
§ 02 principles

We sweat the details so your software doesn’t embarrass you in the quarterly review.

Six principles we won’t compromise on.

01// principle
YOUR MISSION = OUR MISSION

Your problems become our problems — we embed with your team, attend the meetings, send the awkward emails. Not a vendor at arms-length.

02// principle
PLAN BEFORE CODE

We don’t write a line until the business is understood and the plan exists. Most software fails because someone skipped this step. We don’t.

03// principle
OBSESSED WITH DETAILS

To paraphrase Billy Joel: get it right the first time, that’s the main thing. We’re obsessive about the small stuff because users live in the small stuff.

04// principle
FULL LIFE-CYCLE

Requirements, design, build, test, support — same team, start to post-launch. No handoffs to the junior B-team after go-live.

05// principle
REFERRALS ONLY

Every project we have ever taken on came from someone who worked with us before. We treat that as both compliment and standard.

06// principle
BOUTIQUE BY CHOICE

Small enough that the people on calls are the people writing the code. Big enough to ship serious systems. We’re not trying to scale past that.

§ 04 field note

What is a Harrier?

Northern Harrier in flight over marsh
// fig. 4.0 — Circus hudsonius, in flight

A slender bird of prey that hunts low over marshes — long wings, an owl’s face, patient and unhurried.

Northern Harriers find what others miss by flying close to the ground and paying attention. We thought that was a fair description of how good software gets built. The name stuck.

They’re relatively common, but their populations are declining. So is the software studio that takes the time to do this right. We’re trying to keep both around.

// fun fact: harriers hunt by sound as much as sight. their owl-like facial disc funnels noise toward asymmetric ears. the engineering parallel writes itself.
