What

Community Cloud is a Kubernetnes distribution based on K3s designed to run on bare-metal servers that are geographically disparate. Using Tailscale, regions are seemlessly connected together to form clusters that operate without extra configuration. We build on top of K3s to deliver easy application deployment, authenication, monitoring and other goodies packaged together and ready to use.

How

Community Cloud allows computing networks to be created using the Wireguard VPN technology. Behind the scenes, a service mesh coupled together with a distributed database allows service requests to be routed within this network. The bottom line, engineers can use familiar tools and technologies that are performant, secure, and easy to scale.
