An entry is one piece of MDX content — a blog post, doc page, or any single record in a collection. Each plan's entry limit is the total across all your collections combined, not per collection.
An environment is an isolated copy of your content and schema, typically used for production, staging, and preview. Higher plans include more environments so you can test schema changes before they go live.
Nothing is deleted or locked. Existing entries and media stay fully readable and editable. You just can't create new entries or upload new media until you upgrade or free up space.
Yes — upgrade or downgrade any time from Settings → Billing. Upgrades apply immediately; downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
