Free For Charity

We provide free websites and domain management for verified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. FFC volunteers build, host, and maintain websites so nonprofits can focus on their missions instead of technology overhead.

What we do

  • Donate websites built on GitHub Pages, Next.js, and Jekyll
  • Manage domains through Cloudflare DNS with free SSL
  • Provide email via Microsoft 365 for Nonprofits
  • Maintain the work so charities never have to think about hosting

How we're organized

Our repositories follow a naming convention:

Prefix Purpose
FFC-EX-<domain> A donated website for an external charity (e.g. FFC-EX-clarasbridge.org)
FFC-IN-<name> Internal infrastructure or tooling (e.g. FFC-IN-ffcadmin.org)
FFC-<purpose> Cross-cutting tools (e.g. FFC-Cloudflare-Automation)
