My name is Sam, I am a poet, I wrote this note just to show it.

What I'm building

  • unity-compass - philosophy research wiki and live theorising space, hosted at unity.samue.lk
  • larder - offline cache of LLM CLI transcripts. Searchable when the network isn't.
  • silo - rent-a-GPU CLI for vast.ai. Spin up vLLM, prompt it, save the logs, destroy the box.
  • tui-journal - terminal journal forked from Ammar's. Added cross-entry mentions, Notion sync, templates, streaks.
  • tui-journal-publisher - Notion sync sidecar; distinct binary so other providers can plug into the same boundary.

Now

PhD application to LSE Philosophy is in. unity.samue.lk is the research scaffolding while I wait. Still learning Rust — still bad at it, slightly less bad each week.

Lately

Teaching tui-journal to remember itself — entries that point at other entries, paths that complete as you type, a streak counter that says yoooo at me when I show up.
