Sonus is a macOS desktop application for recording, transcribing, and analyzing conversations using OpenAI's Whisper and ChatGPT models.

• macOS 13.0+ (Ventura or later)
• Apple Silicon (arm64) recommended
• OpenAI API Key

1. Download: Get the latest release from Releases
2. Extract: Unzip Sonus.zip
3. Install: Drag Sonus.app to /Applications
4. Launch: Open Sonus from Applications

1. Grant microphone permission when prompted
2. Enter your OpenAI API key in Settings
3. Start recording or activate AI Assistant

1. Press Option + Space to open floating assistant
2. Configure target language and mode in settings (⚙️)
3. Click "Start Recording"
4. Speak or listen - get real-time transcription, translation, and suggestions

1. Open Sonus main window
2. Click the large microphone button
3. View live transcription and analytics
4. Stop to save and analyze

• Option + Space: Toggle AI Assistant (new in v1.4)
• Cmd + Shift + Space: Show/hide mini recording window
• Cmd+Shift+M: Toggle Mini Window.
