Hi, I'm Kayvan Sylvan. 👋

I am a builder, tech leader, and open-source maintainer.

Previously, I held engineering positions at Meta, Apple, Disney, and IBM. Now, I apply that enterprise-grade rigor to open-source tools that automate the boring stuff.

🚀 The Main Mission: Fabric and Personal AI Infrastructure

I am currently the Lead Developer and Maintainer of Daniel Miessler's Fabric, an open-source framework for augmenting humans using AI. I've also recently joined the Personal AI Infrastructure project.

  • Recent Work: Architected the Go-project refactor, implemented Image Creation and Realtime Search Tool features, added many new LLM providers, and delivered bug fixes and stability improvements.

See the recent updates to get a sense of the project velocity.

  • Goal: To turn experimental AI scripts into robust, production-grade tools; making enterprise-level reliability accessible to everyone

🛠️ My Toolbox

Languages: Go Python TypeScript

Infrastructure & Tools: Nix Kubernetes Docker
