Steven Enamakel - live GitHub profile card

Hi there, I'm Steven Enamakel πŸ‘‹

I'm an engineer specializing in deep-tech, web3, and AI. Builder first, founder second. Optimist and workaholic.

Warning

🚧 Slippery Slopes. Weird philosopher vibes ahead from a workaholic and an incredibly addicted Factorio player. Please tread with caution.

I build on five principles:

  1. Recursive building - I build small things that work really, really well, so that when combined together, they compound and add a ton of value. This inspiration comes mainly from the Unix philosophy of building things.
  2. Verifiability - Everything I build is verified with unit tests and end-to-end tests, so we always move forward and never move backwards on bugs (regression testing). If anything new I build, breaks a test, I have agents go and fix it up. I often spend weekends cleaning up and auditing the tests that I have done.
  3. Hyper-Parallelization - Everything I write is agent-friendly, so that I can use agents to work on code in parallel at the same time. I'm often spinning up over a thousand agents a day either on my laptop or on the cloud. And I spend a lot of my time in the planning phase to make sure I can build a strong foundation for all of my agents.
  4. Recursive feedback - Feedback is important. I always build a tight iterative loop (observe-orient-decide-act) where users use the product, give feedback, and that feedback gets incorporated as quickly as possible (as GitHub issues or Linear issues, etc.).
  5. The Factory must grow - I'm an avid player of Factorio. I never could imagine that a video game would have so much impact on my life, but here we are. I have probably logged over 2,000 hours in it and it has been one of my driving principles for building and how I operate my life.

I document my Factorio life lessons over here.
