One of the things that we're seeing at the ecosystem and inception of forward-deployed engineering everywhere is people who rapidly categorize forward-deployed engineers as consultants or solutions architects. Now, the latter two are really focused on delivering successful outcomes for customers, just like FDEs are, but with a material difference. As a consultant, you only care about the success of that customer. McKinsey, Bain, or BCG, to the best of my knowledge, are not building a platform that helps all the customers they're working with. They're building and solving specific bespoke problems for an individual customer. That is not the way forward-deployed engineering works, and it's not the way that you can set it up successfully. So I see two evolutions in forward-deployed engineering. And it's funny, a lot of the later Palantir employees talk about one versus the other.
